About City Centre

City Centre (also called Whalley) is undergoing the most dramatic transformation in Surrey's history. The area surrounding King George and Surrey Central SkyTrain stations is being remade with towers, plazas, and public amenities, including the new SFU Surrey campus, Surrey City Hall, and the Central City Shopping Centre. For condo buyers and investors, City Centre offers the best transit access in all of Surrey and prices well below comparable Vancouver neighbourhoods. The ongoing investment in arts, education, and public space is reshaping perceptions of this once-overlooked area.

Getting Around

City Centre has the best transit in Surrey by a wide margin. Two Expo Line stations (Surrey Central and King George) provide 35-minute connections to downtown Vancouver. Multiple RapidBus routes serve Newton, Guildford, and White Rock. Future SkyTrain extensions will depart from King George Station.
